Island Gold or shorted iGOLD will be the ingame token backed by Stablecoin. We will build our $iGLD to be backed by Stablecoin / 10.

10% of all minting will go into Stablecoins and be matched by Tokens ingame to get a initial Tokens minted. This means that with a Sold out Island Mint of 888 x 0.15 the bank will carry 156000 iGLD worth 15600USD (15.6 ETH in total at mint time)

iGLD in the bank will be governed by the Islanders DAO. Each Island owner will have one vote. (This is to be decided further into the project) As long as the bank have iGLD you can buy/sell to the bank. People that wish to buy ingame tokens will be able to do that from our Tokens shop. When someone buys Tokens they will be matched by Stablecoin token at the current rate.

Ingame tokens can be exchanged for Stablecoins if you have registered your wallet. The tokens will exchange to stablecoin / 10 rate. IE. you can exchange 100 iGLD for 10USD approx.

We have decided to keep iGLD a Stablecoin to not afflict too much volatility into the building process or actual metaverse process.
